Tejano Conjunto Dance Party
Description
In support of the festival’s international programs and to celebrate the diverse community we serve, each year we throw a series of Global Parties at Top of the Park that spotlight different ethnic backgrounds and cultural traditions. Featuring free outdoor performances and demonstrations by local artists, these nights usually feature lively music, street dancing, hands-on art activities, and community resource areas.
The 2010 Global Party Series includes:
-Zabawa Polish Heritage Event, June 22, 6:30-8:00 pm
-Mahrajan Middle Eastern Celebration, June 29, 6:30-8:00 pm
-Tejano Conjunto Dance Party, July 6, 6:30-8:00 pm
